The image of Edoras rising on a great mound of boulders and stones over a vast sea of bronze grass was always very striking to me, and I thought it would be an interesting idea to explore for this culture. As for the architecture, I thought it would be an interesting contrast to blend the vaguely Greek [[Basenti]] architecture with Western European stylings used by those of [[Oran]] and [[Rhewing]]. This created a faintly Byzantine concept, only if the Byzantine Empire was formed somewhere in Kansas rather than the Black Sea. 5c1d83a722b4ad95e5feb0c7827e55079145a5e8 Basenti 0 6 16 2024-06-26T04:06:58Z 99.102.212.104 0 Created page with "Eazy is his name and the boys comin straight outta [[Basenta]]" wikitext text/x-wiki Eazy is his name and the boys comin straight outta [[Basenta]] ec931411114cf1a60d7b7ffe63ec6b68b223b96e Alari 0 7 17 2024-07-03T16:11:47Z MonkeNotic 2 Created page with "The inhabitants of [Alaria] are a unique appearance in [The Heath] due to both their [Basenti] roots and their devotion to the" wikitext text/x-wiki The inhabitants of [Alaria] are a unique appearance in [The Heath] due to both their [Basenti] roots and their devotion to the 018e9b244f7edde1f2c6870174a12a89815a6893 Fairies 0 8 18 2024-07-03T16:22:52Z MonkeNotic 2 Created page with "The only race that is not native in any capacity to [The Ciric Kingdoms], the fairies dwell entirely in the region known as the [Lost Wilds], though it has many names in their various tongues. [[Emperor Menoneas]] himself was a [[Shanabadan]] general who seized the throne in a power struggle and led his kingdom on a bloody conquest of its neighboring states. Under [[Emperor Thebeas]], the [[Shanobad Empire]] saw a surge in economic and political growth. Following the sealing of the [[Tower of Sorcery]] from the [[material plane]] in [[3000 BA]], the [[Sorcerers]] of [[Maios]] had fallen into disrepair as the brotherhood was scattered across Maios for lack of a central headquarters. To try and utilize the strength of the [[sorcerers]], [[Emperor Thebeas]] offered that they build a permanent [[waystation]], known as the [[Bastion of Sorcery]], in his capital city of [[Menaxandria]]. This allowed the [[Brotherhood of Sorcery]] to store the salvageable records they kept from the sealing of the Tower, as well as establish a training ground for new [[sorcerers]] and a meeting place for accomplished [[sorcerers]]. At this point, [[sorcery apprenticeship]] was not commonplace, which gave the [[Shanobad Empire]] an effective monopoly over magical services such as [[manaforging]], [[claysinging]], [[soilcalling]] and [[sailguiding]]. Through this, [[Menaxandria]] gained the nickname "The City of Wonders", and the Shanobad Empire quickly rose to be one of the world's foremost producers in agriculture. [[Menaxandria]] was said to have been six times the size of its current proportions in those days, sporting a tower palace called the [[Tooth of Thebeas]] that held the record as the tallest structure in the [[material plane]]. [[Emperor Thebeas]] was succeeded by [[Emperor Varabi the Greater]], who expertly utilized [[sailguiding]] to create the [[Water Roads]], which ran between all three continents and was heavily taxed by the [[Shanobad Empire]]. This gave way to the diaspora of [[sorcerers]], birthing the practice of [[sorcerer apprenticeship]]. In [[2385 BA]], during the height of their reign, the [[Shani]] were struck with a terrible burden. [[Pugal]], who had been defeated during the sealing of the [[Tower of Sorcery]] in [[3000 BA]], again returned from the [[Realm of Monsters]] with a refreshed army of his minions. e91c8efed034ecf1885b2567cb12494cd49efdb6 Brotherhood of Sorcery 0 10 22 2024-07-28T18:48:10Z MonkeNotic 2 Created page with "The Brotherhood of Sorcery is [[Maios]]'s only organization of people with magical abilities." wikitext text/x-wiki The Brotherhood of Sorcery is [[Maios]]'s only organization of people with magical abilities. b4ce290e43587e28d0bd111613f50229f8d8de00 26 22 2024-07-28T19:12:28Z MonkeNotic 2 wikitext text/x-wiki The Brotherhood of Sorcery is [[Maios]]'s only organization of people with magical abilities. This is typically used for engineering purposes, with inventions like the [[hellsinger]], the [[rockfisher]] and the [[zephyrstep]]. The specific commands carved into contraptions utilizing the [[runes]] allows manaforged objects to perform spells equivalent to the abilities of a novice [[sorcerer]], with basic casts such as a blast of fire or a gust of wind. Nevertheless, this has allowed technology to vastly advance in a very short amount of time, with [[manaforging]] having only been discovered in late [[300 AL]]. The vast majority of [[sorcerers]] that serve lords are now being trained rigorously in [[manaforging]] to the same degree that [[claysinging]], [[soilcalling]] and [[sailguiding]] have historically been practiced. In [[451 AL]], the [[sorcerer]] [[Galatav II]] discovered [[golemcraft]], which allows for the rudimentary creation of life within previously inanimate objects. This can only be done between the cooperation of an [[enchanter]] and [[vivamancer]] to create a [[golem]], which has extremely limited emotion, the general inability to form highly complex thought such as existentialism or theology, as well as the need to constantly intake [[mana]] through its [[runeheart]]. Nevertheless, the [[sorcerers]] in [[Menaxandria]] have worked tirelessly to perfect this, and the usage of [[golems]] as a replacement for slave labor has already taken root throughout [[The Fallow]], and most especially in the [[Shani]] region. 0c27497d2f239c74736111535d3721d50ab985dd Hellsinger 0 12 30 2024-07-29T23:46:13Z 99.102.212.104 0 Created page with "A rune-powered trebuchet that generates and flings fireballs." wikitext text/x-wiki A rune-powered trebuchet that generates and flings fireballs. 480874640a749f48b6bf3cfdb135414f4b39f32c Rockfisher 0 13 31 2024-07-29T23:47:36Z 99.102.212.104 0 Created page with "A complex rune-powered crane that is capable of raising and lowering heavy objects without any need for a pulley." wikitext text/x-wiki A complex rune-powered crane that is capable of raising and lowering heavy objects without any need for a pulley. f568f60aa5abec5d1029bdc144250cdc38600f65 Zephyrstep 0 14 32 2024-07-29T23:48:33Z 99.102.212.104 0 Created page with "A rune-powered platform that is capable of floating in either a directly horizontal or vertical direction with a large weight capacity." wikitext text/x-wiki A rune-powered platform that is capable of floating in either a directly horizontal or vertical direction with a large weight capacity. beed17537f76c9a7e4cdc42f366c89dc518d34d5 Oran 0 15 35 2024-08-13T14:26:00Z 99.102.212.104 0 Created page with " Important peoples [[Rafhael Karband]], [[Leto Karbrand]]" wikitext text/x-wiki Important peoples [[Rafhael Karband]], [[Leto Karbrand]] c315e8819c8209cd2d0308fa93ff58e7ede050a2 Rafhael Karband 0 16 36 2024-08-13T14:27:55Z 99.102.212.104 0 Created page with "The tall, handsome brother that was pronounced dead following the sacking of [[Rediron]], the ancestral city of the [[Karbrand]] family.
